Celebrate Recovery - Meets every Monday from 7-9 p.m! Life is filled with hurts, habits, and hang-ups that if not dealt with can place us in bondage and rob us of life and joy. Some examples are alcoholism, divorce, sexual abuse, codependency, domestic violence, drug addiction, sexual addiction, food addiction, gambling addiction, and more. The truth is that Christians are not exempt.
Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered recovery program based on the classic 12 steps from AA and other groups. Many lives have been helped with these steps, but there is a vagueness about who God is. Celebrate Recovery is very specific that our God is Jesus Christ, and this program uses His beatitudes to lay out the recovery principles. Celebrate Recovery will be a safe and anonymous place for people to come to begin being honest with themselves and others about their struggles. We will worship together, have fellowship, support one another, and be nourished in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
You do not need to be a member of FBC to attend. There is no pre-registration or sign-up necessary. CR is a volunteer program. You may choose to participate in all that is offered or simply attend the main program from 7-9 p.m.
