On Sunday, August 24, 2008 a new fellowship of believers began worshiping at FBC. 
The FBC community welcomed over 50 Karen believers who have recently moved to the Worthington area. They will be sharing our facilities and partnering with First Baptist Church in this exciting time.
The Karen Christian community in Burma (Myanmar) has deep roots in the Christian faith going back to the early 1800's with the work of Adoniram Judson.
Thank God for the gift of new friends, pray that His work will grow.
